The most recent article in the Mail Tribune details some information about the possibility of using the old Kim’s restaurant building for the Medford Market. According to John Statler, the President of the Medford Market Board of Directors, this offer came as a complete surprise and is currently being followed up on. Add this potential location to the possibility of the old Foodland site, and things are looking encouraging. As the article details, there are numerous specifics about the Kim’s offer that need to be investigated.
On another subject, the general membership meeting that was hoped to have been held this month will most likely not happen until February. The Board needs to meet to set the agenda before the date for the membership meeting can be scheduled. When there is a date for the Board meeting, I will post it here. Of course I will also post the date for the general membership meeting as soon as that is known.
Please spread the word that new and additional Medford Market memberships are being solicited to help fund the opening of the Market. To avoid risk to these owner shares funds from their sale will be kept in a separate account and not used until the opening of the Market is imminent. If you are an existing member and can buy an additional ownership share, or if you are not currently an owner and want to become one, please visit the share purchasing page for information.
