It’s never too early to learn healthy eating habits! That’s why we offer hands-on nutrition education demonstrations for elementary school classes. On Wednesday, January 25th, co-op staff members Anne and Caleb taught the two fourth grade classes at Orchard Hill Elementary how to make four delicious, healthy snacks.

“Yes, it really has been five years already!” is a phrase I’ve heard repeated around the co-op a lot these past few months in response to inquiries about our five year anniversary. At this young age, maybe ‘birthday’ is a more fitting term than anniversary!

Thank you to all to the participants that volunteered their time on Saturday, September 24th to help clean up litter along the Greenway for Bear Creek Creek Stewardship Day! This fall we expanded our efforts from Barnett Road north to Highway 62.
