Goldback Wines Tasting

Goldback Wines launched in 2016 and is based in Ashland in the Rogue Valley of southern Oregon.  Winemaker Andy Myer brings over 10 years of winemaking experience to this endeavour, having worked 12 vintages in a variety of wine regions across the globe.  These producers include Felton Road, Cristom Vineyards, William Selyem, Cape Mentelle, Hirsch Vineyards and Mark Ryan Winery. 

Clean, careful winemaking allows for wines that are made with minimal intervention and sulfur usage. These wines favor an approach that looks for refreshing natural acidity, utilizing whole cluster fermentation and long skin contact to achieve optimal tannin integration.​ Visit the Co-op to take Goldback Wines today!

Mickelberry Gardens Demo

Mickelberry Gardens is the vision of beekeeper Matt, and herbalist Madelyn. They craft a variety of different healing remedies with raw honey, propolis, beeswax, and bee pollen. They raise bees in Troutdale, Oregon and concoct tonics, salves, and tinctures in their commercial kitchen space in Gresham. Mickelberry Gardens keeps their bees organically, and source bee products from other local beekeepers with similar values. Schultz Wine Tasting

Schultz Wines started in the Rogue Valley in 2010 and they partnered with Linda Donovan, winemaker and co-owner of Pallet Wine Company in Medford, to produce small lots of hand-crafted wines. Schultz Wines is a family owned boutique winery located in the beautiful Applegate Valley of southern Oregon. They specialize in small lots of wines well suited to the warm days and cool nights of this region. They select premium grapes that are sustainably farmed and gently guide them through fermentation and aging with minimal intervention, thereby producing wines of exceptional complexity and character. Ninkasi Brewing Tasting

Ninkasi produced their first batch of beer in June 2006. Based out of Eugene, Oregon, Ninkasi Brewery continues to grow while remaining fully independent and continuously focused on community. A team of two has increased to a family of over 100 employees who operate Ninkasi’s tasting room, production and lab facilities, sales force, marketing teams, local distribution arm, and a donations program. Ninkasi maintains a year-round Flagship Series of seven beers, including Total Domination IPA, followed by seasonal, special release, and R&D offerings. Board of Directors Meeting

Medford Food Co-op's Board of Directors meetings are generally held on the third Monday of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Medical Eye Center, located at 1333 East Barnett Road in Medford.

Owners are invited to attend the Board meetings to learn about the Co-op. The Board plans and provides the agenda for each meeting in advance of the meeting date, with the most recent Board agenda available to view on the Co-op website. Owner issues and/or items for discussion should be brought to the attention of the General Manager or Board President prior to the scheduled meeting time in order to be included in the agenda. If you are an owner planning to attend a meeting and would like a specific topic to be addressed, please contact the General Manager.

2Hawk Vineyard & Winery is named after the two hawks that have soared over the estate and the vineyard since its original planting. 2Hawk sits squarely in the middle of the unique microclimate of Southern Oregon. Sun God Medicinals was founded in the Summer of 2014 with a mission to blend & extract quality healing herbs from Southern Oregon to help consumers address specific symptom needs.  From herbal teas, tinctures, elixirs, topicals, edibles, and extracts the Sun God Meds product line is aimed at providing specific relief. Sun God products are made from naturally grown herbs cultivated and harvested on small, family farmsteads in Southern Oregon. They search for herbal supplements grown as nature intended, in small-batches, to ensure quality.  They also use ingredients that are sustainably wild-crafted and certified organic whenever possible. Cliff Creek Cellars Tasting

Cliff Creek Cellars is dedicated to producing quality, estate-grown wines that will stand the test of time, obtaining local, regional, and national recognition and distribution and to foster an enjoyable experience for the consumer. Cliff Creek Wine is made from the harvest of their very own vineyard, located in Sams Valley just northeast of Gold Hill, Oregon. Today, Cliff Creek has 65+ acres devoted to grapes: 20 acres in Syrah, 20 acres in Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest divided among Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Sangiovese. Some of their grapes are sold to other winemakers and the rest they reserve for the Cliff Creek label. Stop in for a taste of the local flavor from Cliff Creek Cellars!
