Tough As Nails 5K & 10-Mile

The Tough as Nails 5K & 10-Mile Race always promises to be a fun event that focuses on highlighting local businesses or individuals and celebrates the beauty of Southern Oregon! 

The 10 mile course will be compromised of run-able, crushed granite service road as well as single track trail with roughly 1700+ feet of elevation gain. The 5K course is a family-friendly loop course circumnavigating the mountain with a new added out-n-back, ran solely on service road with approximately 500+ feet of elevation gain.

*Prizes awarded to Top Male/Female finishers for each distance
*Ribbons for Top 3 age group finishers
*Additional prizes and giveaways announced at the event

This year's event will also be partnering with Crater XC to further assist the already successful program and to further insure their abilities to compete aren't limited by finances. Additionally, this year race organizers will be accepting canned food donations to be donated to the Maslow Project! Race registration closes May 9th.

Third Friday Community Art Wall Opening

Please join us for the Community Art Wall Opening featuring the Southern Oregon Flower Farmers' Gallery! Meet local flower farmers and mingle with community members on Medford's Third Friday, May 17th in the Café from 4-6pm.

The Southern Oregon Flower Farmers' Gallery will be on display from May 2019 - July 2019. Gallery images are not for sale.

Artist Statement:
The Rogue Valley hosts a thriving agricultural community, including several women farmers who specialize in growing seasonal flowers. Some among these women are also designers making stunning arrangements of the unique blooms they grow.

Medford Food Co-op is hosting ACCESS Cooking Skills demonstrations monthly. Join us for a cooking skills demonstration featuring locally grown produce this Monday, May 20th from 1-3pm! Laura will be in-store sharing how easy it is to make healthy recipes at home. Learn basic cooking skills and discover seasonal recipes using fresh, healthy, Rogue Valley Grown produce. Learn a new skill, taste a new recipe, and discover the abundance of our local food system!

BOD Meeting

The May Board of Director's Meeting has been rescheduled from the normal Third Monday meeting to Tuesday, May 28th.

Medford Food Co-op's Board of Directors meetings are generally held on the third Monday of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Medical Eye Center, located at 1333 East Barnett Road in Medford.

Owners are invited to attend the Board meetings to learn about the Co-op. The Board plans and provides the agenda for each meeting in advance of the meeting date, with the most recent Board agenda available to view on the Co-op website. Owner issues and/or items for discussion should be brought to the attention of the General Manager or Board President prior to the scheduled meeting time in order to be included in the agenda. If you are an owner planning to attend a meeting and would like a specific topic to be addressed, please contact the General Manager.
