Meet your local farmers! Ashland Food Co-op and Medford Food Co-op are organizing the first annual Rogue Valley Farm Tour. On Sunday, July 22, 2018, local residents will have the opportunity to visit 25 local farms and vineyards around the Rogue Valley, participate in a variety of activities from tastings to field tours, and learn about the abundance of our local food system. This free family event brings you directly to the farmers, land, and animals that produce the delicious local food we enjoy in our fertile valley.
Our mission is to increase the overall interaction between community members and local growers, in order to garner more support for locally produced food. By providing residents the opportunity to learn about where local food comes from, how it is grown, and by whom, we can grow community, and in turn, economic prosperity for our area.
