Grocery Story: Talk & Book Signing

You’re invited! Meet Grocery Story author, Jon Steinman, and join us for a compelling talk sure to inspire co-op owners and engage anyone who cares about the future of food. Jon will be giving an inspiring talk about how food cooperatives play an essential role in transforming local and regional food systems in the Café beginning at 5:30pm.

Come for the compelling conversation, stay for the incredible food! Enjoy complimentary samples of these local goodies: Herbal Cacao Elixirs from Leora's Chocolates, local brews from Caldera Brewing Company, award-winning wines from Quady North Winery, and Mélodie from The Oregon Cheese Cave will be sampling a selection of local cheeses, including the 2019 BEST CHEESE IN THE WORLD, Rogue Creamery's Rogue River Blue. MFC Board members will also be sampling a variety of housemade items, including: holiday pies, hor d'oeuvres platters, and locally roasted coffee from Griffin Creek Coffee Roasters.

Jon will also be tabling and chatting with shoppers in the store earlier in the day from 11:30am – 1:30pm.
